Ursa Minor is known as the Little Dipper because its seven brightest stars seem to form the shape of a dipper. The star at the end of the dipper handle is Polaris, the North Star.
 
The Ursa Minor Earring is completely hand fabricated in oxidized sterling silver and 14kt yellow gold. Each earring is gypsy set with 7,  .9mm cinnamon diamonds. While the left earring represents Ursa Minor in it's true direction, the right earring is a reverse image of the constellation.
 
The earrings measure 15mm x 10mm and hang 1" from top of ear wire to bottom.
