The ancients believed that the cosmos is reflected in gemstones. Jasper is an opaque and fine grained variety of Chalcedony. It is found in all colors. The name means "spotted or speckled stone"

The Jasper Cufflink Ochre is completely hand fabricated in oxidized sterling silver. The frame surrounding this cufflink has been playfully hammered to create a third dimention to it's look. 

The jasper measures 18mm x 18mm across and are 4mm in depth.
